The Saddle for Bigger Horses
We have been asked repeatedly about a draft Natural Ride and so we decided to build a light weight saddle that fits those Big horses and their riders comfortably. The NR Supreme was specifically designed to fit draft and draft crosses and weighs only 22 lbs.! It will fit both smaller breeds like Fjords and Halflingers and larger breeds like Clydesdales and Percherons. The short skirt fits the closer coupled draft horse without hip interference, and the skirts are made of high quality black felt to insure a great fit and to eliminate much of the weight. The tree is designed to account for the width and to clear higher withered horses. Specially designed handles on the back of the cantle make this saddle a breeze to throw up on a horse, and gives any passengers something to hold on to. The deep, comfortable seat is narrow and contoured for all day riding. Only the finest leather goes into these saddles and the craftsmanship shows in every detail.
